The concept of U Major and what it ultimately represents is something much deeper than just a simple trademark brand.

Having a depth of understanding to the symbolism of what it represents is important to realizing the significance of our message.

The main portion of the constellation Ursa Major ~ the great bear, aka the Big Dipper is something that dates back

centuries into our existence on this planet. Fixed around the North Star (Polaris), it represents how to find one's place in the world

and properly navigate ourselves throughout life. Since ancient times after the sun went down and sky lit up, a crucial

piece to navigational understanding was reliant upon the North Star. This is due to the fact that all the other stars and constellations

revolve around this stationary point in the sky. The easiest way for us to find this main point is to locate one of the

most identifiable groups of stars, the Big Dipper. Following the end of the top star in the ladle portion of this spoon-shaped

constellation, we are able to locate and identify the North Star. Depending on the degree of how high the North Star is in the night sky,

it has a direct correlation with the location of where one is regarding their degree of latitude on planet Earth.

Variable how far north or south someone is. The closer the North Star is to a ninety degree angle, indicates the

farther north one is. Just north of the equator we will find the North Star just above the horizon.

If one is located at about forty five degrees in latitude the North Star will be fairly close to half way up in the night sky.

During the course of a year the Big Dipper does a complete rotation around the North Star.

This parallels the reasons as to why there are different representations of the Big Dipper expressed throughout these designs.

It is important for us to adapt and change to our circumstances while still remaining true to the structure and character of ourself.

The world we live in, along with nature is always changing, evolving, and moving forward, with still a core structure of representation

at its base, an ever evolving lifestyle is ongoing and forever present. It also represents that everything circles back around just

as the seasons change. This constellation also depicts the concept of the astral clock in the nighttime sky.

All we have in this life is time and how we choose to spend it, life isn’t meant to be taken for granted when our light is set into motion.

With understanding that our connection to everything comes from the stars and all that’s entangled with it.

There is so much more that goes into the essence of existence then what we are normally made aware of. These designs have a depth to their symbolism, into more than what just meets the casual eye. Hence the reasoning why there’s different concepts displayed in our apparel.
